Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This one-day, four-round Swiss is perfect if you're looking for a casual, affordable event with a G/45+15 time control that sits between blitz and classical chess. The ultra-low entry fee ($10–$40) makes it accessible to players of all rating levels, and young players under 15 or anyone without a rating can compete as amateurs for trophy recognition. Just note that USCF membership is required to participate.
