Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
If you're a woman chess player looking for a weekend tournament in New York with a reasonable pace, this five-round Swiss event at the historic Marshall Chess Club offers classical time controls (G/90+30) and notably waives entry fees for titled players while charging just $100 for others. The multi-day format makes it accessible for players who prefer deeper preparation and longer thinking time rather than quick finishes.
