Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This four-round Swiss event welcomes players across three rated sections—Open (1800+), Under 1800, and Under 1200—with strict section placement based on official ratings and no playing up allowed. The fast time control (Game/30 with a 5-second delay) and single-day format make it ideal if you want competitive chess without a major time commitment. At $35–$45 to enter, it's an accessible option for players looking to compete and earn Golden Cup points in their skill bracket.
