This Saturday event at Chicago Chess Center offers something for nearly every club player: an Open section for 1800+ rated players with classical G/60+30 time control, and a separate U1800 section with four rounds of G/45+15 play for those under 1800 (with a welcoming recommendation for players under 1200). Entry is just $25–$40, and FIDE-titled players compete free.
