Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This one-day, four-round Swiss is designed for newer players, with separate sections for those under 600 and under 1200 rating, making it a welcoming introduction to tournament play. The rapid time control (30 minutes per side) keeps the pace brisk while still allowing for meaningful play, and the modest entry fee of $30–$40 makes it an affordable way to test yourself in a competitive setting.
