Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This three-day championship uses classical time controls (90 minutes plus 30-second increment) and welcomes players of all strengths in its Open section, making it ideal if you enjoy a thoughtful, unhurried game. The $110–$125 entry fee is reasonable for a FIDE-rated event, and masters receive free entry. If you're available for a weekend tournament and prefer classical chess over rapid or blitz, this is a solid fit.
