Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This November Swiss is an excellent choice if you're a developing player (rated under 1600) looking for a quick but thoughtful competition, with sections tailored to skill levels from beginners through intermediate players. The G/30+10 time control offers enough time for real decision-making without requiring a full day commitment, and the modest $15–$20 entry fee makes it accessible for players of all backgrounds. Held at a public library in Leander, it's a friendly, low-pressure way to test your skills in a four-round tournament.
