Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This casual, same-day event with a $5 entry fee is perfect for players looking for an affordable introduction to tournament chess without a major time commitment. The G/45 time control strikes a balance between giving you enough time to think deeply and keeping the day moving at a reasonable pace. With four rounds of Swiss-system play, you'll face opponents matched to your level regardless of your record.
