Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This scholastic event welcomes players from kindergarten through high school, with separate sections organized by grade and rating so you can compete among peers at your level—whether you're just starting out (U500), intermediate (U800), advancing (U1000), or ready for the open bracket. The rapid time controls (25 minutes or 45 minutes per game depending on section) keep the day moving, making this an accessible one-day commitment for young players. At $35–$50 to enter, the entry fee is very reasonable for a scholastic tournament.
