Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This invitational is designed for strong players seeking the challenge of classical chess against elite competition, with a 9-round Swiss format giving you multiple opportunities to test your skills. The generous time control of 90 minutes plus 30-second increments allows for thoughtful, deep play rather than quick decisions. Plan for a multi-day commitment from mid-to-late December, and be prepared for a premium entry fee that reflects the caliber of the event.
