Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This scholastic championship is designed for K–12 students and divides players into four age-appropriate sections, making it ideal whether you're a young beginner or high school competitor. With a G/30 time control and five rounds, expect an active day of fast-paced chess that keeps the action moving. The modest entry fee of $45–$55 makes this an accessible way to compete in a statewide event.
