This scholastic event offers four sections across multiple rating levels, making it accessible whether you're an advanced young player or just starting out in elementary school. With a 45-minute main time control and a single-day Swiss format, you'll get meaningful classical play without a heavy time commitment. At $52–$64 to enter, the entry fee is quite reasonable for a well-organized scholastic tournament.
