Is This Tournament a Good Fit?
This three-day championship welcomes players across all levels, with separate Premier and Reserve (U2000) sections, giving intermediate players their own competitive space. The classical time control of G/90+30 suits players who prefer thoughtful, unhurried chess, and the modest $100 entry fee (free for titled players) makes it accessible. If you're based in or can travel to St. Louis in mid-December, this is a strong choice for serious over-the-board competition.
